Been away from this blog for long enough and figured I better circle back and get caught up before I lose my way... had a nice, restful Memorial Day weekend and got caught up on the little stuff that's been neglected... Feels good.
The last couple of weeks had a couple of shoots.. The first was with Sheryl Roberts-Penson, a national commercial print model, whom most of us have seen on tv or in print, modeling for Target, L'Oreal, Macy's, Speigal, etc. The day was so much fun. We started the day going thru things in her magnificent closet of items to create a somewhat 'ethnic bohemian' look; something different from her commercial shoots... I look forward to working with her again! I'm grateful.
For last week's shoot, I did another project with HBO Def Poet Shanelle Gabriel at my house. I brought a stylist in that I met at FIT and we had a blast.. Donna, the stylist, brought a ton of clothes and created many different looks for Shanelle... I think it went really well... Still have yet to go thru all the photos and do editing, and have yet to get feedback from the girls, but overall I think we did good...
