Omega and back...

I had a WONDERFUL time on my retreat at Omega. Words can't describe what a special time it was. For starters, the environment is awesome. The workshop with Dennis Stock was incredible as usual(I learned allot; I adore him as a teacher and friend), and all the other things around Omega were inspiring as always; African dancers, drumming, poetry workshops, music, organic food, etc. I could sit here and blog for hours about each thing...

When I got back I had the photo walk with actor Kit Williamson. We did a variety of characters around Greenwich Village and Central Park. We almost melted in the heat, but had a great time.

Bootcamp

Lined up a shoot with actor Kit Williamson. I photographed him a couple months back and now he wants another shoot... Just found out he did a Tony nominated play called Talk Radio starring Leib Schrieber, and is also working on a project being headed up Kevin Spacey. He's very nice and great to work with. Looking forward to this!

Photo published in Time Out New York magazine.
Album release for rapper J. Skywalker, for which I did photos and cover design.... Off to my Photography boot camp with photographer Dennis Stock at Omega Institute tomorrow... Got 30 of my photos printed 11x14 for my portfolio critique-- turned out great. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and how true the color is. It's truly satisfying to see stuff in print.

Dennis Stock, my teacher with whom I'm studying again in 2 weeks at the retreat...
I feel so blessed to work with him. He's truly a brilliant man and artist.
